don't give up bro, stay focused.
I’m going to address this to myself, and if it resonates, then hello, welcome to reality.
I began consistently doing candle work this year, set up an altar for myself and on every ____ during ____ hour, I dedicated myself to writing petitions, sitting with my people, focusing on what I wanted, etc.
Now, in the beginning, I focused solely on WHAT I wanted. What I wanted to experience. What I wanted to align my frequency with. And now, a few months later, I’ve learned some things that I forgot to also call in.
Spirit is constantly holding up a mirror to my conscious mind so that I can be aware of my blind spots. Shit ain’t easy being confronted by them, but it’s necessary. When we ask for protection, it comes with God/ Universe/Higher self/Ancestors showing you where you could possibly not be protecting yourself, areas of your life you need to change, rearrange, or do away with completely. So when I was calling in material items, mindset changes, self-love, etc, I also needed to be calling in the ability to hold these things. Because what’s the point of calling them in if you have the same scarcity mindset once they arrive? Too afraid that what you received is ALL that you will receive. Or what you have is ALL that you will have.
It’s so important that when calling in money or other forms of abundance, you remember that it is a cycle. An endless cycle of receiving. Giving, then receiving. We are always receiving. The Universe is always giving. But if we don’t acknowledge this, that $5000 you’ve been manifesting that finally arrives will make you feel like that $5000 is all that you will ever have.

I manifested $5000 two separate times in the past three months, and I received them. Like…actually watched them come in. I said I wanted to be debt-free. I wanted particular debts cleared. And now on the other side of my student loan debt being dismissed… I’m shook.
For a moment, I began overthinking my responsibilities. Things I needed to pay. Things I could pay off, but my brain started to revert to:
“you need to be responsible with this money because you don’t know when you’ll receive another project”
Or
“I called in this money for a specific reason/bill, but now that it’s here, if I pay that bill, then most of that money will be gone.”
It’s an exhausting merry-go-round of overthinking. I have overthought myself into a headache.
And I’m done with that. I have to remind myself that ALL THAT I HAVE IS NOT ALL THAT I WILL HAVE. I literally have to check the receipts. The abundance receipts, if you will. The proof that things have worked out countless times for me in the past. The proof that whatever I focus on, I receive. The proof that everything is ALWAYS working out for me.
So next time you are asking for material increase or any other type of manifestation, include the renewing of your mindset so that when it arrives, you can hold it. Appreciate it. Be grateful for it. And know that if you ran it up once, you can run it up again!
